Folk Instruments Competition
Age category: 10 to 13 years
The competition is held in two rounds.
Round 1
- Two diverse works
- Total duration: up to 10 minutes
- 6 participants are allowed to the second round
Round 2
- Two different works not presented in Round 1
- Total duration: up to 12 minutes
- Performance of one original piece (written specifically for the instrument) is encouraged in each round
- All pieces are performed consecutively; costume changes are not permitted
Main evaluation criteria: level of artistic performance, technical skill, mastery of stylistic features, and creative potential.
